Divorce is more than just a legal process, and whether you initiated it or not, it’s a life changing event that can affect everything from your family dynamic, financial security to your sense of identity and future plans. With such emotional upheaval, it’s easy to feel lost and confused about what your next steps should be.

Friends and family may offer advice, but unless they’ve been through it themselves, they might not fully understand what you’re experiencing. A divorce coach is trained to guide you through the challenges of separation and provides tailor-made support that is unique to your situation.

Choosing to work with a divorce coach is an act of self-care and valuable investment in your mental health and wellbeing. As your coach, I’ll support you by creating a safe, non-judgemental space where you can speak freely and feel heard. We’ll explore your concerns and work to develop strategies that will empower you to take back control of your life.

By shining a light on the issues you’re facing and using coaching techniques that will help bring clarity to your situation, you’ll be able to make important decisions more confidently, enabling you to move forward with renewed purpose and direction.

Why did I become a divorce coach?

Working as a PA in a solicitor’s office, dealing with divorce every day, I’ve found clients often call just to talk, needing someone to listen to their worries and emotional struggles. A few years ago, a client called from her 2 week holiday to tell me “I just needed to hear your voice”. That was a turning point for me, that’s when I decided I wanted to train to become a divorce and separation coach.

As a divorce coach with a legal secretarial background, I offer a rare combination of emotional support and practical legal insight, giving my clients a powerful advantage. I work closely with solicitors and know exactly how the legal system works from divorce and financial applications, Children Act proceedings, TOLATA to Family Law Act matters. I help you feel more prepared and less intimidated, and I also help utilise the time spent with your solicitor in a more cost-effective way.

Final words

So, if you’re feeling lost or struggling with any area of a divorce or separation, from co-parenting, overwhelmed by communication with your ex, trying to understand legal jargon or simply trying to figure out how to put one step in front of the other, I’m here to hold your hand through the whole process. I understand the pain of divorce, but I also know how amazing life can be once you’re out the other side which is why I’m so passionate about helping you navigate your own journey.
